TAI hosts professional drivers workshop on sleep disturbance and shift work

The workshop brings together expertise from HSE, the Biological Timing Group at The University of Manchester and colleagues from across the faculties interested in research into an ageing workforce.

The workshop brought together experts to explore opportunities for innovation in data collection, data analysis and data insights.

The workshop helped strengthen ties between the groups across the University and HSE colleagues and to identify the key areas we want to focus on; sleep disturbance and shift work in professional drivers taking into consideration sleep quality and environment and individual factors (Chrono type - Gender - Age).
