Development of a new digital health and safety risk tool

Dr Bill Collinge, has led the team (Dr Clara Cheung , Dr Mojgan Hadi Mosleh , Dr Patrick Manu, Dr Karim Ibrahim) on the Discovering Safety Programme Project BIM Safety Risk Library for Construction.

The project has successfully moved from phase 1 to phase 2 (commencing July 2020). At the centre of the work is the creation of a health and safety risks knowledge library, accessible via BIM platforms, with intelligent search functionality for design and construction professionals. A key component of the digital library is the diverse range of operational data pertaining to construction projects generated over the last 30 years from HSE’s regulatory activities.

The team developed the new digital health and safety risk tool in close collaboration with the construction industry and software providers via  3D Repro 4.6
