In this year's annual Lane Lecture, Professor Madan reflected on how the clinical, political, and cultural landscape has changed Occupational Health practice in recent decades and why Occupational Health research is more important than ever.
Over 130 people attended the lecture in person and online, which was followed by an informative Q&A session. Colleagues were able to network after the event in the beautiful surroundings of the Samuel Alexander Building.
A huge thanks go to Professor Madan for presenting the lecture. Professor Madan is a consultant in occupational medicine at Guys and St Thomas's NHS Foundation Trust and Professor at King's College London. She was the lead occupational physician to the Houses of Parliament for 21 years and is currently the Academic Dean of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.
