Award Winning Research from the Thomas Ashton Institute

Bill Collinge, Karim Ibrahim, Mojgan Hadi Moselh, Patrick Manu and Clara Cheung won the buildingSMART International Award for Professional Research 2020, with their novel construction sector risk safety tool.
The 2020 Awards finals took place on the 28 and 29 October. The award recognises the work to develop a risk library which is integrated into an open Building Information Modelling tool that will help designers in the construction sector identify safety risks.
The project is part of the Discovering Safety Programme, a joint collaboration with the Thomas Ashton Institute, HSE and Lloyds Register Foundation.
