New TAI Deputy Director appointed

4 July 2022

Dr Richard Kirkham has been appointed as the UoM Deputy Director of the Institute.

Richard is portfolio director for UoM-British University in Dubai, and TAI theme lead for Reliability and Resilience. He is also involved with Project X - Improving government projects through research, and the Manchester Urban Institute.

Richard's appointment continues the work of refreshing the Institute.  New UoM theme leads will be in place from September 2022 as the Institute looks to develop 3 research satellites around the areas of Building Safety, Digital Occupational Health and Safety, and PREPARE, which will build on the work of the PROTECT National Core Study.
